Terms of service and Privacy Policy

The Soure undertakes to respect and protect the information granted to them in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016) on the protection of individuals regarding the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.

INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM YOU
Soure, as a provider of the Welcome to Visit Portugal Free Wi-Fi service, guarantees that the user's personal data, name and email, are only collected for the purpose of granting access to the municipality's public Wi-Fi network.
You may also be asked to fill in a short form in which the information requested is only used for statistical purposes.
When the user joins the service, he accepts and acknowledges that he will have to provide his personal data, name and email, strictly necessary for the provision of the same; such data will be used exclusively for the aforementioned purposes.

CONTROLLER OF THE PERSONAL DATA
The Soure is responsible for collecting, processing, storing, anonymizing and/or deleting personal data of its members, partners, customers or suppliers. Any questions regarding the use of your personal data should be directed to dpo@cm-soure.pt.
In compliance with its responsibilities, and in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation, the Soure shall notify the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD), whenever it becomes aware of any breach of personal data under its responsibility.

PURPOSE OF DATA COLLECTION
The use of the data collected and its processing is for the provision of services to the data subject and also for statistical purposes.

THIRD PARTIES
The Soure, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation, may transmit personal data under its responsibility to third parties. In such cases, Soure will only resort to entities that provide sufficient guarantees to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures in such a way that the processing willmeet the requirements of this Privacy Policy and ensure the protection of the rights of the data subject.

HOW CAN THE HOLDER OF THE PERSONAL DATA MANAGE, UPDATE AND DELETE HIS/HER INFORMATION?
At any time, the holder of the personal data may request the Soure, regarding the data in its possession, to update such data or request their deletion.
This request shouldbe sent to dpo@cm-soure.pt.
However, whenever there is a data retention period imposed by law, Soure reserves the right not to carry out the request of the holder of personal data, informing him of the respective reasons.

RIGHTS OF PERSONAL DATA HOLDERS
The data subject has the right to request from Soure, viadpo@cm-soure.pt:

  • Access, under the terms and conditions provided by law, to the personal data concerning the user that are subject to processing;
  • The correction or updating of inaccurate or outdated personal data concerning the user; The processing of missing personal data when they are incomplete;
  •  The erasure, in the cases specifically provided for by law, of personal data concerning the user;
  •  The limitation, subject to the conditions provided for by law, of the processing of personal data concerning the user;
  •  and also to withdraw consent given when the data processing is based solely on consent;
  •  Oppose to the processing for reasons relating to his/her particular situation when the data processing is based on the legitimate interest of the controller or a third party.
  •  The user may also ask the appointed Data Protection Officer for more detailed information, particularly about the purposes, grounds for lawfulness and retention periods, as well as lodge complaints about the way in which his or her personal data is processed, without prejudice to being able to do so also with thecompetent authority.

FINAL PROVISIONS
The Soure may, without prior notice, amend this Policy due to the need to adapt it to any legislative changes or to recommendations of the CNPD.
The Soure's security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and improved.
